It’s amazing what goes on in the dead of night in London when we’re usually all tucked up safely in bed.

When you go shopping, have you ever stopped in your tracks at a window display because it’s either so beautiful, so interesting or just plain bizarre! It’s incredible to think of the level of intricate detail, how much time and consideration and the sheer volume of people it takes to create such beautiful, interesting and stylish displays that are designed to make us stop and entice us inside.

Well, this month I was commissioned by the Visual Merchandising Director at Browns Fashion to come and shoot such an installation, overnight at Brown’s Headquarters on South Molton Street and it’s clear to see just how much team work (and a sprinkling of magic) it takes to make stunning Christmas windows…
